July Recap 2019

I have no idea how August is here. I mean July was super busy and I actually got to read a lot, so I do, but summer feels almost as if it’s done even though I know we have another month (holiday wise) and almost two according to the seasons, but whoa time, slow down please. In July we went to Texas and the beach (why, it’s soooo hot??!?!) which allowed me to read a lot.

June Recap 2019

June was an incredibly busy month! We traveled to the West Coast for almost two weeks for a wedding and to see friends/family, I read 14 books, and we did some local exploration too. June was also pride month, and shockingly—we usually avoid it because I don’t like crowds and it’s usually too damn hot in June—we actually attended pride in Portland, Oregon. May Recap 2019

I would say I don’t know how I only read three books this month, but honestly I’m SURPRISED I read even that many, so yeah. May was an incredibly busy and hectic month, but there were also a few moments of pure relaxation.

After celebrating our 5th anniversary in Salem/Rockport, MA, Tim and I spent Memorial Day weekend with friends up in Maine (see lovely view above). In between, I purchased a condo (WTF?!) which included a whirlwind 24 hour trip down to VA, and got a whole lot of crap done at work.

April Recap 2019

It was a busy ass month. We had so many visitors, work was busy, and my allergies were horrible so I ended May feeling like a wrung out old dishcloth.

We had 8+ visitors in the span of 10 days. It was great to see everyone, bu we’ve got to figure out better timing next time! They just all happened to be passing through Boston at the same time, so most we only saw for 1-2 days/nights, but it was still a lot. The plus side was that we went to Harpoon one weekend and had some of their delicious pretzels!

March Recap 2019

March was incredibly busy, mostly thanks to a week-long cruise to the Caribbean. So it was relaxing busy—that’s a thing right?

The best part though, was when we got on our plane to Florida it was snowing and then we were in the Caribbean for a week. FANTASTIC. In addition the annual video game exposition, PAX East, came to Boston and we went this past Sunday.
